Broker, VT/NH since 1980. John graduated from Hartford High School and the University of Vermont in 1971. He pursued a career as a Town Manager in three Vermont towns. Since 1980 he has been a real estate sales associate, broker, sales manager and broker/owner of four different agencies. Married to Pat Clerkin (an associate broker in our office) since 1970, the Clerkins have three daughters, a son-in-law and one granddaughter. John is past president of the Windsor County Board of Realtors, past president and director of the MLS, Realtor of the Year in 1986 and holds a number of local offices including Justice of the Peace and Grand Juror. John and Pat live in Wilder, Vermont.

Pat is a graduate of Hartford High School and the University of Vermont. She has been a licensed Vt and NH real estate broker since 1981. Pat and her husband, John (the principal broker) have three daughters, a son-in-law and a four year old granddaughter. Pat is a past president of the Windsor County Board of Realtors and a member of the Upper valley Board. At the Clerkin Agency she is the administrative guru. She oversees the listing inventory , accounts, and general supervision of the office.Pat's extensive experience in the field gives her perspective, patience and understanding required to assist others with their real estate needs. She especially enjoys meeting people new to the Upper Valley and helping them get familiarized with their new home.

Bill is a lifelong resident of the area with 20 years experience as a sales associate in residential real estate. Following service in Viet Nam, He pursued a career in social services and physical therapy. Married to Joanne Brown ( a nurse at Dartmouth Hitchcock), Bill has a daughter and son who have been educated in local schools. The Browns live in White River Junction, Vermont. Volunteering in the local community and recreation department gives Bill a great deal of satisfaction. For 30 years he has coached various youth teams and special olympics and conducted numerous "open gyms". In 1999 he was named the Hartford Volunteer of the Year. He is also a founding Board member of the Hartford Teen Center. Downtown is proud of his community and invites you to ask for his help with all your real estate needs.

Mike is a lifelong resident of the Hartland area and has 27 years of experience in the building construction trades. Mike and his wife Sue live in Hartland and she is a patient care technician at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital. Their two grown sons and their families live in the greater upper valley area.Mike is a member of the Upper valley Board of Realtors and active in many other local organizations. He enjoys hunting, fishing and antique tractors. When not working in real estate, he can be found throughout the Upper Valley pursuing these hobbies.Mike's expertise lies in utilizing his vast construction experience in assisting his clients and customers with their real estate needs. In addition to that, he is easy to get along with!

Jill is a local native Vermonter and a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in both Vermont and New Hampshire.  She is also a Realtor.  Jill is a Hartford High School graduate and attended Tennessee Wesleyan College.

Her two daughters and their families, live within easy visiting distance within New England.
Her career began at the Gardner Agency in Norwich, VT and when it closed in 2001, she joined The Clerkin Agency in White River Jct.

Jill received her G.R.I. designation and is an active Windsor County Board of Realtors.
When she isn't working she enjoys music, theatre, the outdoors and "Curves".  A very active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and a community volunteer.
